This lake is so wonderful. The snow is tremendous at Elk Meadows, and you can go for a hike on the Skyline National Recreation Trail. Little Valley is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit, and going for a hike on the Burnt Hollow Trail is always a great adventure. It is very dried up here at Marks Pond       ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is June. Good hiking is available along the Copes Dugway, and a wonderful spot to camp here at Marks Pond is City Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Marks Pond. Marks Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Circleville RV Park and Store is a delightful local campground, and Bucket Hollow is another great                  location to pop by close by. Panguitch Inn Motel is a perfect site to get some rest, and lakes are such calm sites, why not go to Bendder Pond. For the period of the days of summer at Marks Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
