Lake Marion is a very small lake or pond located North of Trial Lake and South West of Star Lake. My friend Victor Montoya and I visited Lake Marion and caught wild Brook Trout and Golden Trout fly fishing. I was surprised that this lake which is very very small had trout over 12 inches.

It's always fun to stop by Lake Marion. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. This place, the Uinta Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Notch Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Lake Marion, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Bench Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

| | do here at Lake Marion that you need to camp here for a while, Bald Mountain Campground is a splendid place for that, and going for a hike along the Notch Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. Stay the night at Lilly Lake Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Lofty Lake Trail.

the Uinta Mountains, not enough time. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Star Lake Dam, and a fine spot to take a look at nearby is The Notch. High temperatures at Lake Marion all through the long summer days
are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Marion. On a magnificent day at Lake Marion you can take a hike along the Smith Morehouse
Trail, and getting to Lost Creek from Lake Marion is uncomplicated.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Marion without first paying a visit to Provo River Falls, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Stillwater.
