Lake Marion is a very small lake or pond located North of Trial Lake and South West of Star Lake. My friend Victor Montoya and I visited Lake Marion and caught wild Brook Trout and Golden Trout fly fishing. I was surprised that this lake which is very very small had trout over 12 inches.

It's always fun to stop by Lake Marion. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Star Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and why not a little side visit to Lost Creek. There's perfect hiking along the Lofty Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Stillwater is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Marion is a location that is pretty dried up generally; April is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. A good spot to visit close to Lake Marion is The Notch; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Marion; Smith Morehouse Trail is a perfect local trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. Not enough hours in a day
to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Lake Marion is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Lilly Lake Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and do put some time aside to spend at Provo River Falls while you're here at
Lake Marion. Summertime highs at Lake Marion regularly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight
here at Lake Marion.
This lake is so wonderful. From Lake Marion you acquire a wonderful vista of Notch Mountain.
