That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Maple Lake has it all. If the weather is beautiful, you get a fine vista of Sheepherder Hill from Maple Lake, and this is a popular site for folks from Provo-Orem. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Payson is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and you'll discover a striking lake called Dry Lake Reservoir. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Wasatch Range
has to offer. Visit Big Spring Creek since you're here at Maple Lake, and a great place to stop by is Bear Canyon.
Don't leave Maple Lake without first going for a hike along the Nebo Peak Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sundance. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Springville, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody

but if it's for you then, we recommend Spanish Fork.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. Golf can be played at Gladstan Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Maple Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Bench Campground is a splendid location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Summit Trail; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Provo River.
Around Maple Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm months highs here at Maple Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Maple Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Having a wonderful time in the Wasatch Range is simple. Maple Lake Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and do check out Red Lake, it's a pretty lake.
This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. Going for a hike on the Nebo Basin Trail is always a good adventure, and if you came to camp East Bay RV Park is a splendid place to do that.
