You don’t have to go far from Manning Meadows Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at       Manning Meadows Dam, and Sevier River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Around Manning Meadows Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout September this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Third Lefthand Fork Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, East Fork is a stream you can explore during your stay.
