Not much precipitation falls here at Madsen Lake; during the month of April you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Places like Mud Flat are glorious to explore; Skyline Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Maple Bench Campground is always a great experience; do take a hike on the Summit Trail. For the period of the days of summer       at Madsen Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Madsen Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. Just can't get enough of Madsen Lake. Going for a hike along the Nebo Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; there are some perfect whitewater                  spots on Spanish Fork. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Wasatch Range is peerless! Hiking along the Browns Peak Trail is nice fun. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range. The sight of pretty Mount Baldy near Madsen Lake is tremendous, and a lake close by is Blind Lake.
