The Smith Morehouse Trail offers hiking at its best, and a pleasant close by hotel is Lodge at Stillwater. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lower Yellow Pine Lake, you could also visit nearby Shingle Mill Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything

Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Creek Campground is a nice location for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Provo River. All through the summer months here at Lower Yellow Pine Lake, high temperatures
typically reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lower Yellow Pine Lake plunge into the 10's.
At Lower Yellow Pine Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is April, and the driest month of the year is July.
