Go to Lower Yellow Pine Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Lakes? Sure, Castle Lake is close by, and from Lower Yellow Pine Lake you obtain a tremendous sight of Castle Peak. Just can't get enough of the Uinta Mountains. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Nobletts Creek Trail, and not far from Lower Yellow Pine Lake you'll come across Upper Yellow Pine Lake which is a pretty lake. | | get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lower Yellow Pine Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Camping at Beaver Creek Campground is always a great experience, and Lodge at Stillwater is a fine spot to get some rest. paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chalk Creek, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Provo River. If you came to camp Yellow Pine Campground is a good site to do that, and if the weather
is good, you can go for a hike along the Smith Morehouse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Lower Yellow Pine Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. The winter brings highs
down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lower Yellow Pine Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Daniels Summit Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Littles Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.

After the bridge the log jams, second diversion dam and constant river splits can be fun in the right craft (13 ft raft, not recommended). Great rush!... Yeah...this river especially the lower part...really rocks.... |
