You could also go to Round Lake since you're here at Lower Reservoir; it's close by. Any time is a magnificent time at Lower Reservoir if you love the outdoors. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fremont River, and camping is available at Boulder Mountain Homestead RV. Lower Reservoir is not the only site       nearby, Left Hand Reservoir is a nearby lake, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Pollywog Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Willow Patch is always fun, and Left Hand Fork of Donkey Creek Dam is not far at all from Lower Reservoir. Lower Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Bobs Hole is a beautiful place any time                  of year, and Capitol Reef National Park is a good local destination. Going for a hike along the Stair Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and why not camp at Sandcreek RV Park while you're here at Lower Reservoir. Hiking along the Aquarius Trail is great fun; Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a fine site to get some rest. High temperatures at Lower Reservoir throughout the days of summer are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
