Beautiful Lower Pond has much to offer visitors. You could also pop by Dixon Pond since you're here at Lower Pond; it's close by. There are some great whitewater spots on Spanish Fork, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Nebo Basin Trail. Lower Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Going for a hike on the Nebo Peak Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes

If you need a place to stay Springville Days Inn is a glorious choice, and there's whitewater on Provo River for all you thrill seekers. During the warmest time of the year at Lower Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lower Pond you locate Loafer Canyon which is a wonderful site to pop by, and if you came for an overnight stay
Maple Bench Campground is a great site to camp. Lower Pond is not far at all from Provo-Orem, and Gladstan Golf Course is a nice golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Payson; a lake
close by is Grimes Pond.
At Lower Pond you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually April, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
