There's so much to do here at Lower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, East Bay RV Park is a magnificent place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Provo River, and while you're here, you could also have a look at lovely Grimes Pond. A delightful nearby hotel is Days Inn Springville. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Pond       has to offer, you can camp at Maple Bench Campground. So many amusing things to do at Lower Pond, so little time. Good hiking is available along the Nebo Peak Trail, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Payson is a fine choice. There are pleasant locations to explore along the Nebo Basin Trail, and do take a look at Salem Lake, it's a lovely lake. Lower Pond is a location that is relatively dry ordinarily; during the month of April you get the most rain                  around here, and the driest of the months is July. Go for a hike on the Summit Trail, and Gladstan Golf Course is a good golf course close by. There's whitewater on Spanish Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. People from Provo-Orem love to come to Lower Pond, and a day on the slopes of Sundance is just what you need. Summertime highs at Lower Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
