For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lower Pond highs are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lower Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Temple View Lodge; a nice site to stop at is North Fork Sixmile       Canyon. Looking for something next to Lower Pond? If the weather is magnificent here at Lower Pond, you can go for a hike along the Reeder Trail, and don’t forget to take a look at Black Hole while you're here at Lower Pond.
