Visit Monkey Fork Dry Canyon since you're here at Lower Hunts Lake; Sevier River has a magnificent whitewater       paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Monrovian Park Campground, and the peaks of the Bald Knolls dominate the scenery of this region. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Lower Hunts Lake gets very little precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. Don't leave Lower Hunts Lake without first going for a hike along the Smith Canyon Trail; Bald Knolls                  is striking and can be made out from here. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Clear Creek; Fairfield Inn & Suites Richfield is a good site to get some rest. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Lower Hunts Lake has it all. Go for a hike on the Serviceberry Trail, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Hunts Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Elk Meadows, and a perfect place like Fitzgeral Park here at Lower Hunts Lake is too delightful to miss. At Lower Hunts Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
