The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's so much to do here at Lower Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deep Creek Campground is a fine location for that, and you can go for a hike on the Uinta Highline Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. There are good locations to look at along the Dry Fork Trail, and       a lake close by is Ashley Twin Lakes. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. Summertime at Lower Goose Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Lower Goose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Icy Hill Dugway is always a wonderful adventure, and lots of                  folks from Vernal come here.
