...illion in improvements over the summer in preparation for the 2008/2009 ski season.
?Last summer, we had some major changes here at Deer Valley?, installing our new high-speed detachable quad chairlift, Lady Morgan Express, and creating nine new ski runs in the Empire Canyon area,? reports Bob Wheaton, Resort president and general manager. ?The improvements this summer were more subtle, but just as important to providing a top notch guest experience. Since dining is truly one of the most enjoyed aspects of our guests? time at Deer Valley, two of our biggest projects for 2008/2009 were replacing the existing Cushing?s Cabin with a larger and updated model and also remodeling Empire Canyon Lodge. We?re also very proud of the fact that we?ve invested in 50 cabins that will house 200 of our seasonal employees at the nearby River?s Edge Resort at Deer Park. That more than doubles our seasonal work force housing capacity.?
