This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to California National Historic Trail while you're here at Lower Bells Canyon Reservoir, and there's brilliant hiking along the Lake Desolation Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Bells Canyon Reservoir; The Sheep Trail is a good local trail, and you can stay the night at L and L Campground. That right there is heaps       of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Snowbird, and Lower Bells Canyon Reservoir is not far at all from Salt Lake City.
