Point is not far from Lost Lake at all, and everyone loves Dog Flat.
All through the summertime months here at Lost Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. During the
winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lost Lake. A fine location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lost Lake is Fremont River, and Capitol Reef National Park is one of
the destinations that are brilliant to stop at nearby.
If you came for an overnight stay Red Rock Restaurant and Campground is a delightful place to camp, and do take a hike on the Aquarius Trail.
