Throughout the summer at Long Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Stair Trail. Browns Point is in the neighborhood of Long Lake and is a brilliant place to visit, and a delightful site to       camp here at Long Lake is Pleasant Creek Campground. Oak Creek Dam is not far at all from Long Lake, and if you need a site to stay Boulder Mountain Lodge is a good choice. Long Lake is usually a relatively dehydrated location; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do next to Long Lake. You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called                  Bowns Lake near Long Lake, and a fine nearby hotel is Circle Cliffs Motel. Bowery Flat is a magnificent place here at Long Lake, and don't leave Long Lake without first going for a hike along the Aquarius Trail. There are nice locations to explore along the Indian Trail, and Long Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
