Long Hollow Reservoir gets very little precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Road Creek Inn is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Aquarius Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Thousand Lakes RV Park is a splendid location to do that; nearby you find       the Pollywog Lake Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Snuggle Inn is a nice spot to get some rest; going for a hike on the Jackson Dugway is always a splendid adventure. There's so much to do here at Long Hollow Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rimrock Rustic Inn is a brilliant site for that, and Elsies Nipple is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Long Hollow Reservoir. The warmest                  time of the year at Long Hollow Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's.
