In Utah there are many beautiful lakes, Lofty Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. Lodge at Stillwater is a magnificent place to get some rest; going for a hike on the Notch Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lofty Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bald Mountain Campground is a splendid spot for that; magnificent

| | water scenery is available at Kamas Lake Dam close to Lofty Lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Uinta Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Kamas Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lofty Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butterfly Campground. During the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lofty Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the duration
of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lofty Lake sink into the 10's. Around Lofty Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during the month of April you get the most
rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So many cool things to do in the Uinta Mountains, not sufficient time. Reids Meadow is a tremendous location to check out; close by you stumble on the Lofty Lake Trail which
is a tremendous hiking trail.
Bald Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Lofty Lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek.
