Do stop by Lodgepole Reservoir while you're in this part of Utah. Dry warm beds await you at Crystal Inn Logan, and camping is available at Birch Creek Campground. Lodgepole Reservoir gets very little precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Wasatch Range has to offer. You can run the rapids of Logan River close to Lodgepole Reservoir, and

| | you can hit the slopes at Beaver Mountain close at hand. The Wasatch Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Blacksmith Fork; hiking along the Limber Pine Trail is brilliant fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Lodgepole Reservoir. look at lovely Green Fork Reservoir. For the period of the months of summer here at Lodgepole Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period
of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lodgepole Reservoir. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Wasatch Range is excellent! A trip to Lodgepole Reservoir wouldn't be complete
without taking a look at Nebeker Spring, and the top of Monument Peak is easily made out from Lodgepole Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Green Fork New Canyon is in the neighborhood of Lodgepole Reservoir and is a glorious location.
Nick Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Lodgepole Reservoir is right by the Hardware Ranch Trail.

 | 14 miles away The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
