There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Lodgepole Reservoir called the Limber Pine Trail; a good site to stop at is Green Fork New Canyon. At Lodgepole Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's       to Lodgepole Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. This place, the Wasatch Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. On a tremendous day at Lodgepole Reservoir you can take a hike along the Hardware Ranch Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Wasatch Range. A good close by hotel is Crystal Inn Logan, and you can run the rapids of Blacksmith Fork. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do next to Lodgepole Reservoir.                  Logan River is a good whitewater spot next to Lodgepole Reservoir, and Nebeker Spring is a glorious local attraction. Not much rainfall falls here at Lodgepole Reservoir; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. The slopes of Beaver Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and Lodgepole Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Birch Creek Campground is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
