This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Wasatch Range. If you need a place to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a good choice, and the view of Monument Peak is pretty. This place, Lodgepole Reservoir, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Beaver Mountain;       close by you come across the Hardware Ranch Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Throughout the summer months, highs generally are in the 90's at Lodgepole Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Lodgepole Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wasatch Range. Camping is available at Little Creek Campground, and                  a good location for whitewater paddling is Blacksmith Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Green Fork New Canyon is a great spot to go if you're at Lodgepole Reservoir, and a striking lake like Green Fork Reservoir is a perfect place to explore. Camping at Birch Creek Campground is always a great experience, and a short journey to Nebeker Spring is always worthwhile. It is very dehydrated here at Lodgepole Reservoir generally; most of the rain falls during April; the driest of the months is July. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Logan River, and going for a hike on the Limber Pine Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
