The Summit Trail is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Lizard Lake, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Spanish Fork. Not far from Lizard Lake, you'll stumble on Pete Winward Reservoir which is a beautiful lake; you can stay the night at East Bay RV Park. Around Lizard Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain while July       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lizard Lake is located in the Wasatch Range. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. There is a splendid hiking trail near Lizard Lake called the Nebo Basin Trail. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Lizard Lake. Sundance has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Provo-Orem. This lake is so wonderful.                  Near Lizard Lake you come across the Nebo Peak Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Comfort Inn Payson is a good location to get some rest. And that's not all the things to do here in the Wasatch Range. Kuntz Flat is a gorgeous spot any time of year, and the summit of Sheepherder Hill can be seen from Lizard Lake. So many amusing things next to Lizard Lake, clearly striking. A short visit to Rock Spring is always worthwhile, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Gladstan Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Shram Creek is right next door to Lizard Lake and is always a pleasure to go to. Lakes? Sure, Dry Lake Reservoir is in close proximity. High temperatures at Lizard Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lizard Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. So many enjoyable things in the Wasatch Range, just unbelievable. Lizard Lake is in close proximity to Pete Winward Dam which is a beautiful place unquestionably worth taking a look at, and after a long day outdoors Springville Days Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
