This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Deep Creek Campground is a fine spot to do that, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Icy Hill Dugway. Not much rainfall falls here at Lily Pad Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Uinta Mountains. Places like Deer Park are tremendous to visit, and       the Uinta Highline Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. A magnificent location in the neighborhood of Lily Pad Lake is Sinbad Canyon. If you need a site to stay Steinaker Motel is a magnificent choice, and Lily Pad Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Oaks Park Campground is a delightful local campground. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.                  From Lily Pad Lake you obtain a great vista of Sims Peak; nearby you hit upon the Dry Fork Trail which is a great hiking trail. Throughout the summer at Lily Pad Lake highs are usually in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lily Pad Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Lily Pad Lake.
