And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. A delightful lake like Cook Lake in the vicinity of Lightning Lake is a pleasant place to have a look at, and Wonderland Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Pollywog       Lake Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lightning Lake; Stair Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Aquarius Trail, and whitewater paddling is fine on Fremont River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sandcreek RV Park since you're here at Lightning Lake, and while you're here at Lightning Lake it's a great idea to stop at Cook Pasture. Around Lightning Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lightning Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
