There are perfect locations to explore along the Stair Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Fremont River. A great spot to camp here at Lightning Lake is Chuck wagon General Store, and dry warm beds await you at Cowboy Homestead. Lightning Lake is pretty arid commonly; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going       for a hike on the Pollywog Lake Trail is always a great adventure; if you need a spot to stay Days Inn is a good choice. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lightning Lake. Not far from Lightning Lake, you'll discover Chuck Lake which is a wonderful lake; Lightning Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rimrock Rustic Inn is a nice local campground. Near Lightning Lake you locate the Aquarius Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.                  The top of Lookout Peak is easily spotted from Lightning Lake; Cook Pasture is a good place here at Lightning Lake. Throughout the summer months at Lightning Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's.
