    Many people like to go to Larvae Lake. Why not camp at Uinta Canyon Campground since you're here at Larvae Lake, and some nearby water includes West Fork Whiterocks River. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Do set aside some time for Davis Park if you're here at Larvae Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Larvae Lake has it all. Frontier  
   Motel is a fine place to get some rest, and a journey to Larvae Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lucky Spring.
Larvae Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. A magnificent location to camp here at Larvae Lake is Whiterocks Campground; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Dry Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Island Lake in close proximity to Larvae Lake is a good place to visit; if you need a place
 
               to stay Western Hills Motel is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Island Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Around Larvae Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Larvae Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Larvae Lake all through the winter frequently plunge into the 0's.
So much exciting stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too wonderful to be true. A glorious site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Larvae Lake is Uinta River; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway.
