     Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lamb Lakes. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lamb Lakes through the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. There's so much to do here at Lamb Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Campground is a glorious location for that, and float down the rapids of Uinta River in a kayak. Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might  
   not ever wanna go back home again. Not far from Lamb Lakes, you'll stumble on Anson Lake which is a pretty lake, and you can go for a hike on the Uinta Highline Trail.
Lamb Lakes is located in the Uinta Mountains. Lamb Lakes is typically a relatively dehydrated place; May is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. This place, Lamb Lakes, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. If you need a place to stay Best Western

This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Deadman Lake is a lake that's close to Lamb Lakes, and there are great spots to explore along the Icy Hill Dugway. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lamb Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Spirit Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail is always a tremendous adventure. That right there is lots of cool things already but it goes on, the Uinta Mountains has it all.

Little Elk Lake
That's a pretty tough road to get there. I'd say about 4 miles in, but lots of big rocks. Great views though. We took ATV's up and it was a fairly unremarkable ride. We did see a couple of 4WD Trucks headed up too. Good scenery up top. I'd like to camp there and hang out. We didn't fish. It doesn't look really good for that....

Chepeta Lake
Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake.  Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next.  The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since.  Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot....
