If you are in Salt Lake county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Salamander. For the period of the long summer days at Lake Salamander highs are mostly in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Lake Salamander night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. | | Historic Trail is a magnificent national park; a delightful site for whitewater paddling is East Canyon Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. Don't leave Lake Salamander without first going for a hike along the Lake Desolation Trail, and skiing at Solitude is one of those things you just have to do. Westgate Park City Resort And Spa is a great location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Lake Salamander that you need to camp here for a while, Park City RV Resort is a magnificent site for that, and for you golfers
we recommend close by Park City Golf Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Really great skiing awaits you at Deer Valley, and you
can stay the night at The Spruces Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Canyons Grand Summit Resort; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek.
