Lakes are magnificent; Lake Blanche is a lake that's next to Lake Florence; Dromedary Peak is a peak you can make out from Lake Florence. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Wasatch Range has to offer. Everybody close by loves skiing at Alta, and a wonderful nearby hotel is The Canyons Grand Summit Resort. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's       even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Florence. Lake Florence is not far at all from Salt Lake City. Lake Florence is a location that is pretty dried out ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is generally April, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. Get wet paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek; a fine site to camp here at Lake Florence is Maple Cove Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid location                  to stop at near Lake Florence is Tanner Gulch, and California National Historic Trail is a good place nearby. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Lake Florence. Gotta ski! Solitude is a nice place to do that, and the Mount Timpanogos Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Wasatch Range is peerless! While you're here at Lake Florence you can take a hike along the Lake Desolation Trail, and some close by water includes Elbow Fork. At Lake Florence through the summertime highs are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Florence fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Cottonwood Creek, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the The Sheep Trail.
