     Kings Lake is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kings Lake; Bear River Smiths Fork Trail is a pleasant local trail, needless to say you could also have a look at Milk Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Kings Lake there are plenty of folks from Evanston.
Be careful coming to the Uinta Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. There's magnificent hiking
 
   along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to Anderson Pass if you're here at Kings Lake. An attention-grabbing thing to explore in the vicinity of Kings Lake is Milk Lake Dam, and you can run the rapids of Lake Fork. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Kings Lake. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Yellowstone River; from Kings Lake you acquire a nice vista of Kings Peak.

               lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the High Line Trail, and Trail Head Campground is a great campground nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Uinta Mountains for a fine time. Looking for something near Kings Lake? Cliff Lake is in close proximity; Swift Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground. Summertime at Kings Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, generally in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Kings Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Not much rainfall falls here at Kings Lake; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest.

Lower Red Castle Lake
Fished this lake in late July this year. Mainly caught 8-9 inch tiger trout, along with some small Brookies, and a few rainbows up to 12 inches. Alot of fish not much size....

Red Castle Lake
Nice lake, tough hike, and windy. Fished in late July, fishing was fair, but the size of the fish were between 14-19 inches. Wind was really blowing the day I fished here....

Great little lake, no signs of visitors, Fishing was ok. fresh worms seem to work best. This is one of those places you go to be alone. Very peaceful. This is probably my favorite place to go! My little piece of heaven! Maybe it will be yours to. Go hiking and enjoy some fishing and beautiful scenery!!!!!!...
