If you are in Cache county it's always a good idea to stop by Kearl Pond. There's so much to do here at Kearl Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Lake State Park is a brilliant spot for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Limber Pine Trail. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Kearl Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in

| | the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Kearl Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. Be careful coming to the Wasatch Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Kearl Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Blue water Beach is a pleasant local campground, and why not head up to Beaver Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. you get bored of Kearl Pond you could also stop by nearby Kearl Reservoir. The Wasatch Range scenery is always beautiful. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There are some nice whitewater spots
on Logan River, and Hump Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. Nearby Hells Hollow is a glorious place to go if you're at Kearl
Pond, and after a long day outdoors Crystal Inn Logan is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hardware Ranch Trail, and there's whitewater on Blacksmith Fork for all you adrenaline people.
It is very dried up here at Kearl Pond mostly; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July.

 | The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
