There are other locations here than Kanaka Lake, for example Rock Bottom Pond. Kanaka Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; January meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Lower Narrows Campground is always a brilliant experience, and Kirk Hotel is a wonderful site to get some rest. Kanaka Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Loop Campground       is a magnificent local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Mack Canyon Big Hollow Trail. For the period of the long summer days here at Kanaka Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
