Kamas Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Kamas Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Uinta Mountains has to offer. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Rock Creek. There's so much to do here at Kamas Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Butterfly Campground is a great spot for that. Hiking along the Lofty Lake Trail is magnificent fun; Kamas Lake Dam is a charming

Having a splendid time in the Uinta Mountains is uncomplicated. A good nearby hotel is Lodge at Stillwater. At Kamas Lake you don’t see much rain; April is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Kamas Lake, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Kamas Lake | |

So much fun stuff in close proximity to Kamas Lake, absolutely striking. Going for a hike along the Notch Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity,
and the top of Bald Mountain is easily seen from Kamas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Kamas Lake you can take a hike along the Highline Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Kamas Lake has
to offer, you can camp at Bald Mountain Campground. Lakes? Sure, Bonnie Lake is close by, and a journey to Reids Meadow revives the soul.
