Julius Park Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Vernal, and going for a hike on the Uinta Highline Trail is always a glorious adventure. Whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Uinta River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Paradise Park Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Mill Pond is a lake that's next to Julius Park Reservoir; one of the major marks of the surroundings of Julius Park Reservoir is Ice Cave Peak. So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Julius Park Reservoir, absolutely mind-boggling. There                  is a great hiking trail close to Julius Park Reservoir called the Icy Hill Dugway, and Whiterocks Campground is a good local campground. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. Best Western Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Paradise Campground is a fine site to camp. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact plentiful here at Julius Park Reservoir. Julius Park Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Julius Park Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Julius Park Reservoir dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Julius Park Reservoir without first paying a visit to Ice Cave Spring, and you can take a little journey to Julius Park Dam while you're here at Julius Park Reservoir. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Uinta Mountains.
