High temperatures at Julius Park Reservoir through the warm months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Julius Park Reservoir are in the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Julius Park Reservoir; Uinta Highline Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Julius Park is a beautiful site any time of year. You'll meet a lot of people       from Vernal here; Ice Cave Spring is always fun to check out. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains. Julius Park Dam has great water scenery and it's right next door to Julius Park Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Ice Cave Peak can be spotted from Julius Park Reservoir, and dry warm                  beds await you at Western Hills Motel. All the outdoors amusing things in close proximity to Julius Park Reservoir will keep you coming back many times. If you come at the right time of year, Uinta River offers some good whitewater. Lakes are great; Mill Pond is a lake that's close to Julius Park Reservoir. And if that's not enough there's loads more enjoyable stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Icy Hill Dugway, and camping at Julius Park Reservoir is perfect fun, Whiterocks Campground is a perfect local campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Julius Park Reservoir; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Julius Park Reservoir is located in the Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail; no need to travel far to explore interesting stuff like Hen Lee Bench.
