If you're keen on cool geologic marks, try The Red Ledges, and the Gunnison Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. If you're visiting Jorgensen Pond from Price, you won't be the only one, and a perfect location to visit close by is Cat Canyon. The vista of beautiful Favorite Hills near Jorgensen Pond       is delightful, and lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Blue Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant tour to Fuller Bottom is a great way to spend an afternoon, and there are other places here than Jorgensen Pond, for example Cat Pond. There's so much to do here at Jorgensen Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Joes Valley Reservoir - Manti-LaSal National Forest is a brilliant place for that. Jorgensen Pond is a location that is quite dried up generally; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture. At Jorgensen Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Jorgensen Pond temperatures dip to the 0's.
