It is very arid here at John Lake ordinarily; April is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This spot is so good, just look at all the fun things to do near John Lake. Why not camp at Bald Mountain Campground since you're here at John Lake, and a great site to camp here at John Lake is Lilly Lake Campground. High temperatures at John Lake during the summer are in the 80's while night       lows are ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at John Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. You absolutely have to like the Uinta Mountains. Here at John Lake you can catch a sight of Notch Mountain; do explore Wall Lake Dam while you're here. Since you're here at John Lake why not pop by The Notch, and the Smith Morehouse Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.                  There's nice hiking along the Notch Mountain Trail, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Abes Lake. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. John Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains.
