For the period of the days of summer at John August Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime
are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at John August Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Harmon Trail, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Ferron Creek.
It is very dried up here at John August Lake ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest.
