John August Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. On a great day at John August Lake you can take a hike along the Dairy Trail, and camping is available at Ferron Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The trees of La Sal National Forest are a tremendous source of shade on hot summer days; Cherry Flat is right here at John August Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
