Go to John August Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. So many enjoyable things to do at John August Lake, so little time. John August Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ferron Campground is a splendid site for that; Iron Horse Motel is a good site to get some rest. Get wet paddling on Cottonwood Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The trees of
La Sal National Forest are a glorious source of shade on hot summer days, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Ferron Creek.
