Don't leave Jacobs Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Aquarius Trail, and if you've had enough of Jacobs Reservoir, Row Lakes is nearby. There are great spots to discover along the Pollywog Lake Trail. There's so much to do here at Jacobs Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Spruce Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Torrey-Days       Inn Capitol Reef N.P., of course you could also stop at Barney Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Wonderland Inn is a glorious choice, and the top of Burr Top is easily seen from Jacobs Reservoir. Jacobs Valley is a splendid location to explore nearby; if you came to camp Rimrock Rustic Inn is a fine site to do that. So much entertaining stuff close to Jacobs Reservoir, definitely amazing. There's                  great hiking along the Boulder Mail Trail; why not pop by Jacobs Valley Dam while you're here. Summertime highs at Jacobs Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jacobs Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's.
