Around J J Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly bountiful here at J J Reservoir. While you're here at J J Reservoir it's a wonderful idea to       explore Jackass Flat, and don't leave J J Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Gunnison Trail. The scenery at Buckhorn Dam in the vicinity of J J Reservoir is picturesque. You'll need more than a day to explore everything J J Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Joes Valley Reservoir - Manti-LaSal National Forest. This lake is so wonderful.
