All through the warm days of summer at Island Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Island Lake. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the amusing stuff to do close to Island Lake. Camping at Ferron Campground is always a nice experience; the Harmon Trail is a       great hiking trail close by. Around Island Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Island Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ferron Reservoir Campground is a good local campground, and Henningson Dam is a pretty spot. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Manti Country Village Motel is a magnificent choice, and get yourself into a kayak                  and hit Ferron Creek. Going for a hike on the Oak Belt Trail is always a great adventure, and don’t forget to take a look at Baseball Flat since you're here at Island Lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Island Lake you acquire a splendid view of Block Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Temple View Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two.
