Iron Mine Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. This place, Iron Mine Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Iron Mine Lake is Rock Creek, and Iron Mine Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Flat Campground is a brilliant local campground. High temperatures at Iron Mine Lake during       the long summer days are in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Iron Mine Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. Duchesne River is a perfect whitewater spot next to Iron Mine Lake, and Lodge at Stillwater is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.                  There are fine places to look at along the Lofty Lake Trail, and if you came to camp Cobblerest Campground is a delightful place to do that. At Iron Mine Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the snow is February, and June is the month with the least moisture.
