It is very arid here at Irland Lake typically; September is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Yellowstone River offers some great whitewater, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer       at Irland Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Irland Lake are in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure, and why not camp at Trail Head Campground if you're here at Irland Lake. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak                  and hit Blacks Fork - East Fork. This site is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable things to do next to Irland Lake. Lakes? Sure, Grass Lake is in the vicinity, and Flat Top Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Irland Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Irland Lake, for example Castle Lake, and lots of people from Evanston come here.
