Good hiking is available along the CCC Trail, and Huntington State Park is a wonderful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Meetinghouse Canyon is always fun, and don't leave Huntington Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Gunnison Trail. Everybody loves Racehorse Flat, and you can go for a hike on the Chris Otteson       Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Cottonwood Creek, and dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - PRICE. Huntington Reservoir is a location that is relatively dry commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is good on Huntington Creek, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Huntington Dam. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to                  Huntington Reservoir with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Huntington Reservoir are in the-10's. Having a fine time at Huntington Reservoir is trouble-free.
