This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful, you get a great sight of Horse Creek Top from Horse Lake, and Prospector Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Horse Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Horse Lake tend to be in the 10's.
