On a glorious day at Horse Lake you can take a hike along the Alpine Pond Trail; a good close by hotel is Crimson Hills Motel. Around Horse Lake you
don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. The Rattlesnake Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Horse Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brian Head since you're here.
