While you're here at Horse Lake, you could also take a look at wonderful Foster Reservoir, and Parowan-Days Inn is a nice site to get some rest. Put some time aside to spend at Mud Springs if you're here at Horse Lake; you can hit the slopes at Brian Head close by. Horse Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Vermillion Castle Campground is a magnificent local campground, and dry warm beds await       you at Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa. Do have a look at Hoosier Lake near Horse Lake, it's a stunning lake, and Forks Valley is also a splendid place to discover. This lake is so wonderful. The Spruce Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came to camp Mammoth Springs Campground is a fine place to do that. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Horse Lake. Hiking along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail is nice fun;                  Horse Valley is a beautiful location any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. Horse Lake is right by the Alpine Pond Trail, and one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Horse Lake is Horse Valley Peak. Horse Lake gets very little rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. During the days of summer highs here at Horse Lake get into the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
