This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hoop Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hoop Lake Campground is a splendid spot for that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hoop Lake; Shale Dugway is a brilliant local trail. So many exciting things to do at Hoop Lake, so little time. Getting to Kabell Creek from Hoop Lake is easy. Hoop Lake is pretty dried       out frequently; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. The scenery at Hoop Lake Dam next to Hoop Lake is wonderful; if you need a place to stay Kountry Kabins is a tremendous choice. Hoop Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Spirit Lake Campground is a nice local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Fork Trail. Coal Mine Hill is simple to spot from Hoop Lake;                  whitewater paddling is magnificent on Uinta River. For the duration of the summer highs here at Hoop Lake get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
