Holmes Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. At Holmes Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Holmes Reservoir you can take a hike along the Skyline Trail, and Holmes Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Circle L Mobile Home and RV Community is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful.

| | There's so much to do here at Holmes Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Hill Recreation Park is a magnificent place for that, and folks from Ogden-Clearfield love to come here.

generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Holmes Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors,
just come on down to Holmes Reservoir. The slopes of Snowbasin are so inviting noone can resist; enjoy a round of golf at Valley View Golf Course.

Comfort Inn Layton is a delightful choice. A tremendous nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Salt Lake City-Layton, and Adams Canyon is another delightful spot to stop at close by. Looking for some flowing water? Try Middle Fork Kays Creek,
and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ogden River.
California National Historic Trail is a very good spot to take a look at near Holmes Reservoir.
