What a nice lake Hidden Lake is. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hidden Lake has to offer, you can camp at House Rock Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Mahogany Mountain is stunning and can be observed from Hidden Lake; you'll possibly meet some folks from Provo-Orem here.

Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in close proximity to Hidden Lake. There are some nice whitewater spots on Provo River, and Sagebrush Flat is a delightful site any time of year. If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn Orem-Provo North is a great choice; swing by Cattle Creek it's a wonderful place to visit. That right there is a lot of exciting
things already but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Cottonwood Creek, and Burned Canyon is nearby, and is a great location. Dry warm beds await
you at Value Place American Fork. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hanging Rock Campground is a glorious spot for that.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Mount Timpanogos
Trail, and a day on the slopes of Alta is just what you need. During the summer here at Hidden Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs through
the winter are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Hidden Lake during the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Snowbird is near Hidden Lake, and going for a hike along the Lake Desolation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
