    Do stop by Lake Hessie while you're in this part of Utah. Camping at Trail Head Campground is always a brilliant experience; going for a hike along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. So many cool things to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too nice to be true. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Blacks Fork - East Fork offers some good whitewater, and do check out Castle Lake, it's  
   a beautiful lake.
Lake Hessie is located in the Uinta Mountains. If the weather is tremendous here at Lake Hessie, you can go for a hike along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Blacks Fork - West Fork. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Hessie. Hiking along the High Line Trail is glorious fun, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Evanston.

               don’t get a lot of rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. While you're here at Lake Hessie, you could also stop by gorgeous Irland Lake, and a perfect location to camp here at Lake Hessie is China Meadows Campground. At Lake Hessie throughout the summer highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Hessie temperatures descend to the 0's.
