Why not stop by Heart Lake if you're passing through these parts. For the duration of the summer months at Heart Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Heart Lake. | | Trail offers hiking at its best. So much fun stuff next to Heart Lake, just mind-boggling. Nearby Telephone Hollow is a wonderful place to go if you're at Heart Lake, and if you need a site to stay Daniels Summit Lodge is a splendid choice.

visit for more than one day, Shady Dell Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and needless to say, this is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes, Mill Hollow Reservoir is a lake in close proximity.
You'll truly
wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Uinta Mountains. If the weather is delightful, you get a pleasant vista of Buck Knoll from Heart Lake; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Stillwater is a great place
to spend a night or two. Heart Lake gets very little rain; the month of February is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is June.
That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, the
Uinta Mountains has it all. A glorious site for whitewater paddling right next door to Heart Lake is Provo River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Nobletts Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Hollow Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Yellow Lake is one of those nearby.
