A great place to camp here at Hayes Ponds is Racetrack Campground; if you get bored of Hayes Ponds you could also pop by close by Twin Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Strawberry River, and why not camp at Badger Point Campground if you're here at Hayes Ponds. This is no place for people who don’t       like to enjoy themselves. Don't leave Hayes Ponds without first checking out Strawberry Pinnacles, and dry warm beds await you at Greenwell Inn & Convention Center. For the duration of the summer highs here at Hayes Ponds reach the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Hayes Ponds. Hayes Ponds is frequently a reasonably dehydrated site; the month                  of September is the wettest with most of the rain while March is mostly the driest month.
