A visit to Hayden Lake is always a good idea. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Uinta Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. A good site to explore near Hayden Lake is Hayden Pass; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Stillwater. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lofty Lake Trail, and at Hayden Lake you can observe Mount Marsell. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. | | a stunning lake; Hayden Lake is right by the Notch Mountain Trail.
The scenery at Kamas Lake Dam close to Hayden Lake is pretty, and Hayden Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Butterfly Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Hiking along the Highline Trail is brilliant fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rock Creek.

Hayden Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically April, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Highline Trail Head Campground
is always a great experience, and Reids Meadow is a great place to check out.
For the duration of the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Hayden Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. During the
winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Hayden Lake tend to be in the 10's.
