If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Harris Reservoir. Harris Reservoir is typically a reasonably dried out place; most of the snow falls during January, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Harris Reservoir. Jordanelle - Rockcliff Area is a great campground here; there's great hiking along the Littles Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Stillwater is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and don't leave Harris Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Soldier Creek Campground Loop Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Heber City, Ut, and the panorama of Twin Peaks is wonderful. For the period of the days of summer at Harris Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's. of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Harris Reservoir are in the 0's.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Harris Reservoir;
Sky High Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Lodge Pole Campground is a great spot to camp. That right there is loads of cool things already but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. Be careful
coming to the Wasatch Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. A good place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Harris Reservoir is Provo River, and Buck Spring is an inspiring place to stop at during your stay.
