This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. What a place this is for outdoors people. A tour to California National Historic Trail is recommended, and at Lake Hardy you can distinguish East Hamongog. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hanging Rock Campground is always a tremendous experience. Lakes? Sure, Upper Bells Canyon Reservoir is around here. It is very dried out here at Lake Hardy       typically; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. The Indian Trail is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Hardy, and dry warm beds await you at Value Place American Fork. Lake Hardy beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Wasatch Range. Going for a hike on the Lake Desolation Trail is always a wonderful                  adventure, and Red Pine Lake is a magnificent lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Little Cottonwood Creek, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Mount Timpanogos Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snowbird; there are plenty of people from Salt Lake City here. High temperatures at Lake Hardy throughout the long summer days are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Hardy through the winter regularly dip into the 10's. If you came to camp House Rock Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and Alta has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Having a brilliant time in the Wasatch Range is uncomplicated.
