If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Lake Hardy. This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. Here at Lake Hardy you'll most likely meet some people from Salt Lake City, and Value Place American Fork is a perfect place to get some rest. And that's not all the things to do here in the Wasatch Range. House Rock Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and the summit of East Hamongog can be made out from Lake Hardy.

| | Lakes are good; Upper Bells Canyon Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Lake Hardy. Around Lake Hardy you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through April this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Snowbird, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Cottonwood Creek.

Hardy, you might not ever want to return back home again. Visiting California National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Indian Trail. This lake is
so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Alta, and a good close by hotel is Residence Inn By Marriott Cottonwood Fort Union. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hanging Rock Campground, and there
is a fine hiking trail close by called the Mount Timpanogos Trail.
All through the warm days of summer at Lake Hardy temperatures are frequently in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's;
throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Hardy temperatures fall to the 10's. If you come at the right time of year, Big Cottonwood Creek offers some great whitewater, and close by you stumble on the Lake Desolation Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
